A study showcasing the effectiveness of NewGait in improving mobility for spinal cord injury patients will be presented at the 2025 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, from February 13-15, 2025.
Elizabeth Sasso-Lance, PT, DPT, NCS and NewGait Lead Clinician Kim Spranger, PT, will present the study Home-Based High-Intensity Gait Training Facilitates Functional Gains in One Person with Chronic Spinal Cord Injury. The research demonstrates how the NewGait device supports significant functional improvements through high-intensity gait training in home-based settings.
The study, conducted by Elizabeth Sasso-Lance, Benga Adeeko, and Kim Spranger, PT, also provides practical solutions for rehabilitation professionals and highlights the potential of NewGait to transform mobility outcomes for patients with neurological challenges.
